On trails approved by your counselor, take two rides of 2 miles each, two rides of 5 miles each, and two rides of 8 miles each. You must make a report of the rides taken. List dates for the routes traveled, and interesting things seen.
After fulfilling the previous requirement, lay out on a trail map a 22-mile trip. You may include multiple trail systems, if needed. Stay away from main highways. Using your map, make this ride in six hours.

Georgia’s Muddy Spokes Club challenges mountain bikers and casual cyclists to tackle 11 state parks and 68 miles of trails. To join the Muddy Spokes Club, stop by one of 11 participating state park offices and purchase a $10 membership card. Then, visit the 11 state parks in the Muddy Spokes Club and ride the designated bicycle trail at each—for a total of 68 miles. Some trails are fairly easy, some are moderate and some are strenuous and will give you a challenge.
Mt. Adams is singletrack along the Big Creek Greenway.

Fort Yargo State Park offers the bonus of camping with your trail ride. Check with the visitor center to see if a trail permit is required. Shave off the most difficult part of the trail with the Monster Mile bypass - two laps will still get 22 miles!
