Feature keys
Keys like this have always bothered me because I never want to run the software to make the buttons work. Even if I didn't mind the extra memory consumption and systray item, I don't think I would ever remember to push the email button to open Thunderbird instead of just clicking the icon in the task bar.
The antenna button is different. It actually seems to tie to the MiniPCI card to turn the 802.11g and bluetooth on and off. It remembers what it was set on between startup/shutdowns. When I received the laptop, I thought my wireless card was broken because I couldn't find a network, but push it once to turn on just 802.11g (blue LED by the touchpad comes on), again for just bluetooth (blue led turns to green), again for both (blue and green turn on in the same place making a weird blue/green mixed color), and again to turn them off again. The LEDs by the touchpad are kind of bright, so if you're bothered by LEDs, you might want to put some sort of filter over them if you ever have the case opened up. It's kind of neat if you're wanting to conserve battery in a place where you don't have wireless internet or don't have a bluetooth device.
