I have no idea who this kid is, but she was sitting next to me for most of the wait for the shuttle launch. I just thought it was a neat photo - patriotic or inspiring or something. Note, there's a garbage bag over the speaker in the background because it rained a bit during the wait - not a good thing for a launch day.
