Welp, I was going to try to download and install OpenBSD tonight, but it seems I ran into two major problems. OpenBSD 2.9 blows up during the installation boot from floppy and cdrom images on both my 486DX-33 and P133.

That's for the 486. The P133 just has a protection fault and barfs on the screen. I downloaded the 2.8 image and it boots fine, but then I discovered the NIC I got off ebay doesn't work. I'm thinking about just re-auctioning it, but the cost of shipping it is just so much, so I probably won't (not to mention it would be mean).
I'm a little disappointed that OpenBSD 2.9 doesn't want to go on my 486, but I can't think of any feature in 2.9 that isn't in 2.8 that I would use. I'll be back on ebay looking for another NIC. Bleh.
